- End of the war. A young widower, left with newborn twins, visits his brother accross the gulf. Both fishermen are mixed up in complicated relationships with the sea-coast women, but this line is conveyed using strictly a psychological approach, without any melodramatic sentiments. The film was banned in the Soviet Union, but in 1997 was recognized as the best Lithuanian film.
In 1997, audiences and critics "Emotion" was the best recognition of Lithuania Lithuanian film. With the exception of Lithuania, the film was banned in the entire Soviet Union.
