- Kristina Ehin is the latest in a long line of great Estonian female poets stretching far back into the folk tradition. This oral tradition lives on in Kristiina's work, in which she weaves Finno-Ugric mythology and folklore into her very contemporary poetry, thereby creating uncommonly striking patterns of sound and image. Her poetry spans centuries, millenia - it is at once modern and primeval.
- All poems are in the original Estonian and translated into English.
